Start with the parcel and case number

Identify the address, applicant and zoning case in the official agenda or application. A broad company announcement may not identify the local parcel.

Read the decision, not just the headline

A proposal, staff review, zoning approval and building permit are different milestones. A vote does not establish that construction has begun.

Ask what is documented

• Power demand and proposed utility connections.
• Water use and cooling design.
• Noise, setbacks and traffic requirements.
• Tax agreements and public-service costs.
• Upcoming hearings and how to submit comments.
